My name is Shane Willard, although I've sometimes gone by The Mighty Jerkules or Jerkulese, and I turned 13 right about the time Smells Like Teen Spirit set the world on fire. I lived in a small Canadian mining town best known for it's hockey players. Around 1992 a small punk scene started in Kirkland Lake that meshed with the nearby local indie/punk scenes Northern Ontario and continued until the end of the 90s. This channel contains music that I have played on dating back to 1993, long lost podcasts, Nicki Minaj Head and more! I was part of a DIY punk scene so much of what you will hear was either recorded in the 90s on a 4-track cassette recorder, a small basement studio, or in my basement with whatever crap equipment I had at the time. Bands I have played with include Understatement, The Subverts, Cragmatic Pope, Swank, Steel Rider, The Deefons, and more recently The Sky Hits The Ground. I have also recorded lo-fi solo music including a nine song series called Reset The World.
