Colour Blind Awareness is a non-profit organisation which raises awareness of the needs of colour blind people world wide.
1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women have some form of colour blindness (colour vision deficiency) so there are almost 3 million colour blind people in the UK and approximately 320 million people worldwide.
Colour blind people can have problems every day and anywhere including - at school, playing and watching sport, at work, shopping and accessing information, especially on the internet. We aim to raise awareness of all the problems colour blindness can cause and offer advice to businesses, schools, parents and of course, to colour blind people themselves.
