A classical cellist who also improvises, I'm the emeritus cello professor at the DePauw University School of Music in Greencastle, Indiana. My cello teachers included Gary Hoffman, Marion Davies, Denis Brott, Leonard Rose, Channing Robbins, Bernard Greenhouse, and Roger Drinkall. The late David Darling was my improvisation inspiration, mentor, and friend for many years.
