Pioneers of puppet improv & sketch comedy. Established 1999.Josh Cohen became a Muppeteer when he was asked to join the The Jim Henson Company (1999). That same year, Josh and Tamra met while performing at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in New York City. They both received training from Chicago’s Improv Olympic‘s Charna Halpern as well as the original members of the UCBT: SNL’s Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts & Matt Walsh. Josh & Tamra have performed in several productions at the UCB NYC Theater, most notably they are proud alumni of the UCB’s house Harold Teams, Team C.H.U.D., The Joe Ross Tribe, and My Kickass Van. Both frequently performed on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien, hosts on an on-line series on AOL.com’s,”The DL, and nominated for a Streamy award for their on-line talk show, "Monkey News Source", on TheStream.TV. The Josh and Tamra Show has been touring their puppet improv comedy duo show, teaching, headlining improv comedy festivals and variety of other venues.
