Cassette tape rips from past & present collection. discogs.com/user/joshuatxuk instagram.com/tape_escape/ Cassette tapes I upload include more obscure underground cassette releases, homemade demo tapes, pop music from around the world, novelty releases, personal mixtapes, mystery blank tapes, and other rare and unusual finds. Most of these were acquired from thrift stores, garage sales, etc. in Austin, TX. A few of the recent tapes were bought from local record stores or tape labels. All sounds in their pure, ferric oxide glory recorded into 16bit/44.1 khz wav. Youtube upload audio is in 440kps. I use wavosaur for recording and waveshop for editing. If needed I also use Audacity. I archive the .wavs as well as artwork scans but only share upon request. In the future I will also upload obscure media of other formats (8-track, CD/CD-R, .mp3s from the early 00s, etc.)
