Welcome to The Living Farm. My name is Lynn Gillespie, and my family has stewarded this 130-acre organic farm in Paonia, Colorado for five generations. On this channel, you’ll learn practical gardening skills, greenhouse growing, seed starting, and food production — but you’ll also see how those same biological principles extend beyond the garden. The way a plant roots into soil isn’t all that different from how an animal seeks warmth, shelter, and good food. We grow organic food, raise livestock, care for a flock of sheep, and create handmade wool products from fiber raised right here on the farm. Those wool items are a natural extension of our work — another way nature provides when we understand how it works.
