Urbanalogue is a digital space for local culture that seeks to record, collect, broadcast, and preserve local live performances and other locally produced content from the University of Illinois and the community in Champaign-Urbana. The mission of Urbanalogue is to strengthen the fabric of the community through the arts and bring people together who would not otherwise have a chance to interact and collaborate. This includes training individuals who are interested in learning audio/video capture and broadcast techniques; to this end, Urbanalogue provides in-person training sessions throughout the year and are in the process of developing a digital training series.
