Nigerian Singer/Songwriter Moshood Atanda Bello – known by his stage name KD Mab – is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, author and narrator. A Lagos-based creative, he founded his own imprint Sunboy Entertainment Ltd., through which he releases his music and literary projects. His described as “one of Nigeria’s promising Afrobeat dancehall act,” and notes that he “started this journey in 2020”. KD Mab launched his musical career with a series of self-produced singles on platforms like SoundCloud. In late 2021 he released songs such as “Wait” and “Scorn,” among others, showcasing an Afrobeat/R&B style with dancehall inflections. These early tracks display KD Mab’s melodic songwriting and rhythmic production, aligning him with Nigeria’s evolving alté and Afro-fusion scenes.
