ROMI is a Horizon 2020 European funded project focused on developing a platform of open source tools to help organic microfarms.
Through this Youtube channel you will find informational videos about the different tools that were developed, as well as algorithms and pipelines develop to treat data that is collected through these tools.
The ROMI tools consist of:
- a ROVER, a ground based robot that can move to and around a plant,
- a CABLEBOT, a robot strung onto a cable that goes along crop beds to collect images of the crops at set intervals
- a PLANT SCANNER, also known as a phenotyping station in the biology world, that revolutionises research in biology by enabling cheap and precise 3D scans of plants
- a FARMER'S DASHBOARD, a software interface to display and make sense of all the data that is being collected by the robots
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 773875.
