Welcome to the Music Box. This is a place where we'll look at various aspects of music. One of my favorite things that I've picked up the last couple of years was an enjoyment of opera, which I hope to share with you. I'll be looking at various performances, including the Live in HD series from the Metropolitan Opera in New York. I also plan on looking at books revolving around music, quirky choices made for stage (and caught on film), and oddities in music.
