Loud George is a grunge band formed by Eric Hayes, Nick Baxter and Sam Smith in 2010. They wanted to create something raw, unfiltered and carefree. They wrote songs with three chords and catchy choruses, like ‘Bottle’. The songs were gritty, dark and ferocious, with a touch of melody and apathy. The self titled album was rough around the edges. They played gigs in Manchester with original and punked up cover songs, but they faded out after 2 years due to lack of direction and experience. They left behind some fuzzy live videos and demo recordings. 10 years later, Eric reconnected with Nick and Sam and they revived Loud George. Using their home studios, they polished their old songs and released their debut album. Matured like a fine wine, and with some life experience, Loud George are back in business. They are working on their new EP “Sex Teeth”, which will show their matured sound and style.
