"Love songs for the grown and busy"—After graduating college in 2009, Alexi P. took a job at an insurance company. When he found himself writing lyrics in his cubicle for what became the company song, he realized he was in the wrong place—and that if he could write a love song about insurance, he could write about anything. Called "blue-eyed soul for the 21st century," Alexi P. has developed an impressive list of accomplishments. He performed at SXSW 2017, has been featured in the New York Times, ThisisRnB.com, and soultracks.com, and has his music licensed on seven major networks including A&E, MTV, VH1, and BET. His latest project, “Love Odyssey,” features Jadakiss, Chrisette Michele, T3 (Slum Village), Natalie Stewart (Floetry), and Amina Buddafly, and transports listeners to a world of endless, old school romanticism, with groove-heavy R&B musical stylings and lyrics that reflect the joy of being in love.
