Formed in the Summer of 2007, the GBB (The Gainesville Big Band) is an 18-piece jazz band that plays a wide range of big band styles such as traditional swing, dance, latin, and contemporary jazz. The members of the GBB represent different career fields such as band directors, banking specialists, and church ministry. The musicians have a deep passion for jazz and a commitment to presenting quality performances to the Gainesville area.
