Salami Vice Productions is the love child of comedians Ryan Sands and Steve Mayeux. They formed the company in March 2006 when they ran for student government at Louisiana State University. Their satirical student campaign, titled Mass Turban Nation, was the backdrop of their very first promotional campaign. Running without a serious platform, they spent only sixty dollars for campaigning materials, which included a carton of cigarettes and two sweat bands. Ryan and Steve received 9% of the student vote. The longest Ryan and Steve have performed improv was 28 consecutive hours, which makes it the third longest improv show to be recorded. There are two main men behind the scenes of Salami Vice, Kyle Rutledge and Bryan Wooldridge. Kyle is responsible for keeping up with the money, booking shows, filming, and video editing. Bryan prepares the stage on the night of the show and ensures that all sound and technical aspects of the show run smoothly.
