The University of Warwick Brass Society is a completely unauditioned student society at the University of Warwick that is dedicated to all things brass. Encompassing the award winning University of Warwick Brass Band, the University of Warwick Symphonic Brass Ensemble, the brass society provides a platform for brass players (and percussionists!) to perform and socialise regularly. With the Beginner and Intermediate ensembles, providing opportunities for absolute beginners to start learning a brass instrument!
The brass band is conducted by Simon Hogg and competes in the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, and UniBrass, as well as performing many concerts at the University and in the local community. The symphonic brass ensemble gives an opportunity for members of the society to conduct, performing many concerts as well.
The society also has a fantastic social environment where brass players from all musical backgrounds are welcome.
