Empowering the Innocent (ETI) is a research and criminal justice reform project that gives voice to alleged innocent victims of wrongful convictions that they can use in their struggles for justice.
The overall aim of Empowering the Innocent (ETI) is widespread reforms of the criminal justice system, appeals system and the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) so that the emphasis is on the pursuit of truth in alleged cases of wrongful conviction. Only then can true justice prevail for victims of crime and victims of wrongful convictions alike.
