We're focusing on older hardware that is still usable today. A lot of PC users don't go for the latest and the greatest, and this makes older hardware quite common. Despite that, there is not a lot of coverage of older components. But on this channel, we test the PC parts that modern reviewers have long since forgotten.
We like benchmarking popular titles of today on hardware that has no business running them. The aim here is for 30 to 60 FPS at low settings, depending on the game. And if a cheap CPU or GPU is still punching way above their weight class, we'll let you know.
You don't need a second mortgage to be a PC gamer. If you believe that 1080p is perfect and 720p is fine, and that a used office PC is the best starting point for a build, you’ve found your people.
