The Urban Agenda for the EU is a joint effort to strengthen the recognition of the urban dimension by European and national policy actors.
Established by the Pact of Amsterdam on 30 May 2016, the #EUUrbanAgenda seeks to help realise the full potential of the European Union and deliver on its strategic objectives.
The Key strategic objectives of the Urban Agenda for the EU are to achieve a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and, to contribute to the implementation of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
