The official YouTube Channel for Sweet Smoke music put up by some of the original group members. Sweet Smoke was an American Hippy music group formed in 1968 by some very close friends hailing from Brooklyn New York. Consumed by their passion for music and inspired by the hippy revolution of those times, they dropped out of college and moved to Germany in 1969 and went on to develop their own unique style of psychedelic rock jazz. Their first LP 'Just a Poke' was groundbreaking and very well received establishing them as one of the important early pioneers of the budding hippie music scene in Europe. It went on to stand the test of time and has earned them a place in the psychedelic hall of fame. They recorded a second LP in 1972 called 'Darkness to Light' which was far ahead of its time and full of great musicianship and creativity. They recorded a 3rd LP 'Sweet Smoke Live' right before they split up in 1974 after the sax and keyboard players left.
