LISA STEELE is a 5th generation chicken keeper and creator of the Fresh Eggs Daily® and Coop to Kitchen® brands. She lives on a small farm in the Maine woods with her husband, their corgi, and flock of chickens, ducks and geese. For more than 15 years Lisa has been sharing advice on raising backyard flocks as well as "coop to kitchen" recipes using fresh eggs from her coop and seasonal produce from the garden. The author of 6 popular books on raising backyard flocks which have sold nearly 200,000 copies worldwide, her debut "The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook" was published in 2022. Her 2nd cookbook, In Season, will hit store shelves in May 2026. Lisa has been seen on NPR's Here & Now, HGTV's Martha Knows Best, Hallmark Home & Family Show, Dr. Oz, The View and the New York Times, Farmers Almanac, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fox New, CNN, The Spruce Eats, Martha.com and The Splendid Table. She also produced and hosted the award-winning show "Welcome to my Farm" on CreateTV/PBS
