The brainchild of bassist Evan Hillier [ex 222], HOG materialized under the bleak skylines of Toronto circa 2016 as a drum and bass duo. Inspired heavily by bands such as NoMeansNo, Pigment Vehicle, Big Black, Death From Above 1979, Tool, and maybe even a little Elton John. Now based out of Victoria BC, HOG's current lineup consists of Evan Hillier - Bass/Vocals, Liam McLaren - Guitar/Vocals, and Caleb Belknap - Drums.
