delta4x4 - THE OFFROAD COMPANY. Back in 1980 delta4x4 was founded in a small barn in Schondorf at the Ammersee in Bavaria. Josef Loder started the company with two friends as „delta Geländesport und Zubehör Handels GmbH“ . delta4x4 was one of the first companies on the market, which mainly focuses on offroad sport. With a customised Suzuki LJ80 delta4x4 competes as a Team at the Rallye Paris-Dakar in 1982. The car finishes, unfortunately out of ratings. After that the project grew, friend- and partnerships were made, in 1985 follows the second participation at the Rally Paris-Dakar. In 1990 delta4x4 became the official ambassador for the Rally in Germany and the first contact for sponsors and drivers. Meanwhile the company has over 60 employees in Germany and a 40 year old history.
