Hi! I'm John Davis, I also go by my artist name, JD Sampo. I've been composing music for most of my life and recently decided to try my hand at media composition. I'm posting my compositions here along with some found footage video to help set the mood. It's a little bit of the reverse of film composing in that I'm using video to help support the emotional impact of my music rather than the other way around. I find doing things this way helps me focus on what I'm trying to accomplish with each piece.
