The TEXT Program, or "Tibetans in Exile Today," is an oral-history project at the University of Arkansas designed to record the stories of Tibetans currently living in refugee settlements in India. Visit our website here: textprogram.uark.edu. Directed by Professor Sidney Burris & Geshe Dorjee, the program allows students to travel to India and to conduct the interviews that will then be transcribed, edited, and posted to our YouTube channel. Our students, then, are helping to provide Tibetans with yet another venue where their vital and diverse voices can be heard by the world at large.
