Brixton-based alternative rock band Silent Fiasco craft music with complexity: their signature blend of cultures and ambivalence to genre cumulates in a dynamic, atmospheric sound that breaks the mould. The band consists of lead vocalist Anne-Marie Santucci, guitarist James Newhook, bassist Guy Hassell and drummer Jeremy Libre, and draws inspiration from the likes of Radiohead, Steven Wilson, Deftones, Pink Floyd and Muse, among many others. Soaring guitars and bassy riffs are interspersed with melodic piano, providing the platform for Santucci’s haunting vocals. Following the release of their self-titled debut EP in July 2017, the band continues to develop their sound and live show, and with new material already in production, expect plenty of noise from Silent Fiasco.
