I play drums and guitar. Drumming was always my main instrument and I played in a lot of bands and gigged a lot but I also always played guitar a bit(even played bass in a band for awhile) but never in a band context. Now that I have back issues and don't play as much drums, my guitar passion has come to the fore and I have been on a journey the past 4 or 5 years to become the best guitar player I can be. And also, as much as I love playing drums, it can only be rewarding musically(to me anyway at this point in my life) when playing in a band, but with guitar, it is very satisfying just playing guitar with a looper.
