The Baxters Loch Ness Marathon is one of the most stunning marathons in the world. With spectacular scenery, fantastic atmosphere and a truly memorable experience – it’s no wonder runners come from around the world to take part! The 2022 event will take place on 2 October. Renowned for being one of the most scenic and beautiful marathon courses in the world, the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon attracted a record 5200 runners from across the globe at the 2019 event. Starting in an atmospheric moorland setting, the race follows a spectacular point-to-point route along the south-side of Loch Ness to finish by the banks of the River Ness in Inverness. If a full marathon isn’t for you, why not enter the Baxters River Ness 10K or 5K? Both races follow a flat, scenic, point-to-point course through the historic Highland capital of Inverness. The two-day festival promises a packed family friendly agenda with Expo, Runners Café, street food, live music, guest speakers, and kid’s activities.
