This channel was born as an experiment. The initial intention was to "group" hard-to-find content, like newsreels, into playlists. I later felt like trying my hand at creating content, but I chose a middle ground: through the use of pre-existing materials, try to reconstruct the sensations that the media of the past gave. This is where the reconstruction of the 1930s and 1940s movie night comes from, using public domain material, and the radio evening of December 5, 1948, using radio programs already present on the internet. Another goal of mine is "preservation." If there's something on the internet that isn't on YouTube, I'll upload it, obviously in the public domain. So I uploaded the film by the wonderful Mary "Bubbles" Nolan, Young Desire, not yet present on this platform. Another thing I want to do is inform, obviously. For example, I upload something already on Youtube, like the radio broadcast of September 21, 1939, adding information and context. I hope you like it.
