My name is Christian Zatta (*1993) and I’m a guitarist, composer, touring musician, band leader and educator, active internationally. I was born and raised in Lugano and I’m currently based in Zürich (Switzerland).
I obtained my first Master of Arts in Music in “Performance and Composition” as well as my second Master degree in “Music Pedagogy” at the Lucerne University of Arts (Jazz). In 2018, 2020 and 2024 I stayed in New York City for some months and took lessons with some of the most influential jazz musicians, like Mike Stern, Gilad Hekselman, Ben Wendel, Mike Moreno, Nir Felder, Ben Monder, Nitai Hershkovits, Ari Hoenig and Shai Maestro. I’m an experienced stage and studio artist, with more than 450 live shows in twelve different countries and eleven studio albums. My main musical project is my trio NOVA (www.novamusic.ch).
