Millisa Henderson has played guitar since she was 12 and has played for benefits, fundraisers, and festivals. She was guitarist for the Muskogee High School Jazz and Marching Bands and lead guitarist/vocalist for 2 youth rock bands. She participated in Muskogee Spotlight Rising Stars and performed at many events for that program. She received scholarships for and attended the 2013 Guitar Sessions, 2014 Five-Week, and 2015 Five-Week programs at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Millisa auditioned and was awarded the full-tuition 2016 Lollapalooza Scholarship for Berklee's 4-year undergraduate program. She was 2nd place 2015 Queen of Strings international competition winner.
