Steven “Ice Buck” Powell was born in Gary, Indiana, and relocated to Atlanta in the mid 80’s to pursue his music career. His songwriting ability comes naturally with being a relative to one of the most famous musical families. Steven “Ice Buck” Powell is currently writing and producing on Tito Jackson’s new project called (Under Your Spell album) and opening for Prince’s Purple Madness Tour featuring Bobby Miller. He has also worked with industry greats such as The Jacksons, King George, Nellie Travis, Tucka, Alexander O'Neal and a host of others. Awards and nominations over the years include The Hip Hop Pioneer Award in Atlanta, Georgia, Best Collaboration for Southern Soul/Blues with Nellie “Tiger” Travis for “Back that Country Thang On Me”, Original Pioneer Award for Hip Hop and R&B in Indiana.
