Robert Campbell is a singer-songwriter, composer, and author based in Barcelona, Spain. He has written the music/songs for more than 12 London stage plays and musicals including THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE and BY COMMON CONSENT for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, and Edward Bond's STONE. He recorded a solo album for Decca records, LIVING IN THE SHADOW OF A DOWNTOWN MOVIE SHOW, and worked with musicians Stephen Lipson and Michael Sheppard on several music projects including TRACTORIAL BASE. He wrote the songs for DEAN, a musical biography of James Dean that ran in London's West End and in Japan, where The Takarazuka Revue produced the musical over several seasons. Apart from his work as a songwriter, Robert has also published magazines and developed online, video and audio projects for major ELT publishers. He is the author of several ELT readers and English language courses including BEYOND and STUDIO.
