God's Middle Finger was formed in the summer of 2011, when drummer Josh (The Clefts, The Naked Apes) joined forces with Punk Rock Pat on bass and guitarist Charlie (Simplistic Genocide). Vocalists Fozzy (also of Simplistic Genocide) and Lefty rounded out the group. Soon after, Charlie left to go to school. Pat then switched to guitar and his wife Em Bee (False Mermaid) took over on bass. In the summer of 2012, Fozzy traveled to California for schooling, & Lefty threw in the towel. At this point in time GMF was left without vocalists. Greg (Angelspine) was recruited and joined shortly after. In November of 2012, GMF played at the first Scene Together Fest in Providence, RI. The one day festival featured hardcore and punk bands throughout all of New England. In January of 2013 they recorded a 6 song demo entitled "Up Yours". 2013 was good to GMF as their presence was felt in the CT punk scene felt in shows with Biohazard, Suiciety, Thee Enemies, among others.
