South Dublin Radio Club was founded in 1980 and currently meets every Tuesday evening between 7:30pm and 9:30pm in Ballyroan Community Centre on Marian Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.
We are interested in all aspects of amateur radio & related technologies including; digital & voice communications via HF/VHF/UHF radio, satellite communications & engaging with space-based technologies, utilising open-source electronics platforms (hardware and software) such as Arduino & Rasberry-Pi for communications projects, antenna construction, Amateur Television (ATV), LoRa, and other radio-related topics. The club has VHF/UHF and HF radio equipment on site for use by members and those interested in Amateur radio.
