Forsaken Age are a 4 piece heavy metal band from Auckland, New Zealand which pays homage to their heavy metal heroes.
Described as “unapologetic 80s traditional metal worship”, Forsaken Age delivers galloping riffs, power melodies and lyrics which conjure images of vikings and fantasy battles. “With every riff, solo and drum fill, you hear metal lineage recreated, reinterpreted, and celebrated”.
The band was formed in 2010, and since then have opened for a number of international support slots including The Iron Maidens, Venom Inc, Alestorm, Eluveitie, Nightwish, Ross the Boss Band and Artillery.
