Lead singer of the Shawna Ray Band, Shawna has self published two albums - Catch 22, released on 2-22-2020 and OPEN, released 1-1-2010, along with recent collaborations and single releases through Rhythm Ray Records. Shawna released her first children’s book, Take a Trip to Diverse City, in 2007 and is an advocate for Unity, nature conservation, differing abilities, and cultural awareness. With a BA degree in Communications from Otterbein University, Shawna has worked in Public Relations and Communications for more than twenty years and continues to consult on various projects. CEO of her nonprofit corporation, Rhythm Ray Records and new venture I Wanna Go Show. A single Mom with two, now grown kids, Zachary and Kaiya, Shawna now lives with her fiancé and partner, Chris Grigsby and their rescued dog, Bella, in Columbus, Ohio.
