Michael writes thoughtful, reflective lyrics and adds smooth melodies and flowing harmony. This music is always easy on the ears, and is best when listened to with headphones. The lyrics are probing, personal and psychological, but written so that we can use the symbolism and find the message within. He writes about relationships, love, life, death the future and the past. A note about the live videos on this channel. Most of my live shows are simulcasted second life (secondlife.com) shows. Through a process of layering live shoutcast streams, we are able to add musicians from other locations to the live stream. Because of that, the video and sound seem out of sync, but in second life, it seems like the performers are all in the same room. Recently, our live shows include me, Edward Lowell on vocals, mando and flute, and Dan Boyd on bass.
