The Research Center for Education and Cyberculture is an initiative of the Interdisciplinary Group for Studies and Research in Culture, Education and Politics (GICEP) linked to the Section of Humanities and its Technologies of the Federal Institute of Pará. Founded in 2019 by Professor Breno Rodrigo de Oliveira Alencar, NUPEC researches, from a historical and socioanthropological perspective, the meanings and practices associated with human relations in the context of different media, drawing special attention to its coetaneity with different transformations in the field of culture and socialization.
