Author of "American Nomad"..an American Brit from San Francisco, now living in London. About a neurodivergent woman’s GenX identity and learning the hard way, travelling, being a woman in the 90s working in the Bay Area live music scene, life in Santa Cruz where I grew up in the 80s & 90s, life in the UK, France and the Middle East, life in San Francisco before tech took over, and becoming a parent of twins. It also includes other GenX related ruminations, perspectives and adventures about how life once was. On a random diversion in life to the UK, I started an unplanned and unexpected job at the BBC, after previously working for a concert promoter in California. My no niche channel was opened in 2006. At the time, it was simply a place to store videos taken on a Sony Cyber-shot W170 Gold (now vintage) digital camera during years of travelling and studying abroad. I started a writing project in 2015, & over 10 years later my book "American Nomad" was released on 10 March 2026.
