I'm Walter Crockett, songwriter and lead guitar player. Born in Kansas, raised in Massachusetts, living in and around Worcester most of my life. My musical career began with the Prairie Oysters in 1970 and continued with Zonkaraz (which has a bunch of YouTube videos) in 1975. Then I started Crockett in 1979 with my wife Valerie and Duke Levine. We broke up at the end of 1983 and raised kids. In 1994 we started Valerie & Walter Crockett and the Oxymorons and played until 2007, stopping due to an illness that took her life two years later. In 2013 I put Walter Crockett & the Wannabee Wabbits together for about 16 months. Now I play lead guitar with Chuck & Mud, and the Stillwater String Band, both of which also have videos on YouTube. I've been adding Crockett, Oxymoron and Wannabee Wabbits videos as they surface. I hope you enjoy them.
