Slender Loris is a three piece band from Hamilton Ontario. The members of Slender Loris used to be "with it", but now what they're "with" isn't "it", and what is "it" is strange and frightening to them. Slender Loris plays their own interpretation of mathey-post-punk-anti-pop while still paying homage and respect to bands such as At the Drive-in, Nirvana, The Pixies, Sonic Youth, Minutemen and Tugnut. Expect distorted acoustic guitar, amplified acoustic bass, thrashing drums, flailing bodies and curdling screams/yells conflicting with melodic oo's and ah's. None of their products are made to last, aside from the ones they sell/barter/or trade. Armed with a strong D.I.Y. ethic and a self-produced EP under their belts: Slender Loris plays in living rooms, basements, kitchens, bars, halls, theatres, loud or quiet.
