I've been playing piano since childhood though I was always drawn more to composing than performing. My introduction to electronic music came through a Yamaha CVP-301 keyboard, which opened up the possibility of building full arrangements from a single interface. A few years later I started incorporating hardware, moving from a Moog Sub-37 into the Mother-32 and eventually deep into Eurorack modular synthesis. Those years were more foundational than anything that came before, working at that level of granularity changed how I think about sound, signal flow, and what an instrument can be. From modular, I moved on to Elektron boxes, eventually being commissioned for several projects for them. In fact Digitakt 2 comes with samples made by me! More recently I've been working with Max/MSP and Jitter, performing live using a game controller with Max handling MIDI, CV, and visuals alongside Ableton.
