I'm Kat Melheim aka: Roaster Kat - roaster, barista, writer, artist, and founder/editor of Coffee People Zine (an art-based publication for the coffee community at coffeepeople.org). I aim to educate, equip, and embolden roasters with knowledge and tools so they can provide a strong link at their point in the supply chain. My videos are primarily intended for coffee roasters or people interested in coffee roasting, though I hope they're useful for other coffee pros and fans as well. Some of my videos are very technical (roast-alongs), others are very broad (coffee crawls), and some are in the middle (roastery tours). I'm developing this channel to be a resource for coffee roasters and coffee professionals to learn, explore, and build practical skills to be better roasters.
