ArtCare is the arts in health service for Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. Arts in health is widely recognised as a valuable asset to the quality of care provided in hospitals and healthcare settings. The ArtCare team has more than 25 years of experience of bringing colour and inspiration to patients, visitors and staff at Salisbury District Hospital, as well as projects with other hospitals, healthcare settings, local schools and community groups.
Alongside our regular programme of visual, participatory and environmental projects, ArtCare is now providing a variety of online content through this channel to support the wellbeing of patients, healthcare staff and the wider public wherever they are. Videos will include music and song from our Elevate programme artists at home, poetry and story recordings and virtual walks.
