BE612 is a duo creating a unique musical universe by looping diverse instruments and vocals. Each planet of this universe stands between the modernity of looping performance and experimental sounds, and the timelessness of raw instruments and vocals. Our different gears are our arms to create those worlds : Analog electronic gear, acoustic gear and traditional instruments. Our looping techniques and live performance are our signature, as analog synths, percussion, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, violin, vocals are always played live. B stands for Bénédicte, the singer. E stands for Eddy, the multi-instrumentalist musician. BE612 is a reference to the Little Prince, who comes from the asteroid B 612' We are French (B) and Cuban (E), living in Singapore. We both have classical music backgrounds but evolved in Jazz, Rock, Pop, and electronic music. Our music is enriched by our love but also those diverse national and musical cultures that we have experienced.
