Cork songwriter Simon MacHale has been producing electro folk music since he was a teenager. His love of modal folk, classical music and electronics have come together to into a beautiful nutshell of sound, complemented by lush vocal harmonies. His style has been described as 'a darker alternative to Sufjan Stevens, with shades of Stereolab and Owen Pallett'. Simon produces instrumental music as @new-paper-boy, and is a member of @theelectronicfolk collective
