Example: "The prophet gave a bleak prophecy of war and ruin for our times." Facts 1.) About 30% of the Bible is considered prophecy, though many have already happened and many more are being fulfilled today, right now at this very moment in time. 2.) The Bible includes around 88 prophets, though the exact number varies. Prophets appear in both the Old and New Testaments. 3.) Many outside the Bible are also considered prophets: George Orwell, 1948, Saint Malachi, 1094, Nostradamus 1503, Martin Luther King, 1964, etc. 4.) True prophets speak out boldly against injustice and exploitation. They speak on God's behalf when people go astray and forget the poor.
