James DE Lovell is a master musician, Barbados' top rhythm guru, known for his flair and creativity on the drum kit and percussions. Very early in his career James was recognized as the most reliable and talented session drummer. He became known first as a Soca drummer then as a Reggae, Rock, Funk and Jazz drummer. Whether performing on a sedate Jazz stage, or weaving his wild magic on his Hybrid drum kit, he is in his own words "...just a rhythmic human...". Today he is one of the most sought after teachers of rhythm and Managing Director of Foundation Groove Drum School.
