Desolo is a boundary-pushing, fully independent artist whose sound is shaped by life, culture, and resilience. Born in Venezuela in the small town of Las Vegas, Carabobo, his connection to music began early. He started writing songs at just four years old and by thirteen was recording music, entirely self-taught and self-started, building his craft without formal training or industry backing. At nineteen, Desolo stepped away from music to serve in the Army, dedicating eight formative years until the age of twenty-seven. That experience instilled discipline, depth, and perspective that would later define his artistic voice. When he returned to music, he explored multiple genres and released several albums, refining his skills and identity. Eventually, he was drawn back to his roots. Today, Desolo creates a bold fusion of pop, electronic, Latin, cumbia, and hyperpop. Through his own record company, he secured a distribution deal with Symphonic while maintaining full creative control.
