The Caduceus Project is inspired by a dream I had before graduating with my BFA at Brigham Young University Idaho. In that dream I saw blue shoulder patches with this symbol stitched on: The caduceus or staff of Hermes. Legend says that Hermes used this staff to send men to sleep and awaken them from slumber with a tap of his staff. My work mainly consists surreal digital art made possible through virtual reality. Like Hermes' staff, VR has enabled me to freely transition between two dimensions of reality: the dream that is VR sculpture and the crucible that is reality. Join me as I dream lucidly for all to see and wonder.
